Mass Effect Tabletop RPG 2.22

It's here. I hope the rewritten 1st chapter will be clearer to all. The rest of the book stays the same with 3 minor rule changes; First Aid and Medicine skills moved to Knowledge; Paragon/Renegade points give now +15 in Con, Persuasion, Command and Intimidation tests instead of an automatic success; specialisations and advanced skills do not stack with the basic skills now.
Also the character sheet has been updated.
The promised character templates will be available soon on the blog.
Keep on gamin'!

    1. Thank You very much. I had requests for Geth as a playable species and it will be published ether here or in the next version of the rules. But since Geth are software and hardware there would have to be special rules for their advancement.

  2. The game rules are pretty good so far... But they need more elcor love in my opinion. At the current level of development elcor are either unplayable, or need massive homebrewing. There isn't any armor able to fit elcor nor a rule that modifies armor for different species, all the heavy weapons are two handed (which they use to walk) and I couldn't find any "elcor combat rig" which helps them use the weapons they use best. At the current state an elcor brawler is the only build I can make.

    1. Thank you for the feedback.
Agreed... . There are no stats for Volus, Elcor and Hannar armor. I have never seen any Hanar or Volus wear armor, as they use others to fight their cause. As for the Elcor, yes I probably neglected them a bit, but I don't think that this makes them unplayable. I'll modify their stats, and add the rig to the book with the next update.
      Thanks again!

  3. It's probably too soon to ask, but do you know when the rules will be updated again? Me and my friends would like to use these rules but are having trouble understanding certain parts unless we dissect the rules very carefully.

  4. I just started a season with a few people. We are having a great time with it.I noticed that there are a few clashing pices of info though. The HP% at the character advancing (Pg8) and in combat and healing (Pg53) is different. The damage info for doing melee is also different. CC and the weapon table say to use your MD plus weapon damage, but in the combat section it says to roll your strength plus weapon damage. Which info is correct in both cases? Also is there a base amount of character points to give out at the end of an advanture or is there something I missed? Thanks for the hack, we can't wait for the updates.
