20000 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey there Mass Effect Fans! It's been some time since I posted anything. That is because I'm working on another RPG project with a new mechanic. It is possible that I will convert ME to that new system, but that remains to be seen. In the meantime I would like to thank you for your ongoing support and interest in this version of ME. If you have any questions or requests please feel free to contact me through the mail given on my account page. Its 20000 views now and the number is still climbing. THANKS AGAIN!!!

10000!
Since january 14th 2013 when I decided to put up this blog it has been: 10690 all time pageviews and 2583 this month (which is a new record). I'm very happy that so many people have found this blog and maybe a rpg system that suits them best for the Mass Effect Universe. You may have noticed that I've tried to put up all the known systems that are available on the web, since I understand that many of You don't share the same passion for D6 as I do. Also thanks for the feedback and notes!

Adventure Ideas
Some of you ask for plot hooks or adventure ideas for your Mass Effect Tabletop gaming and I would love to write something, but to tell the truth I rarely write down my campaigns and adventures. I am more of the improv type GM so the only things I have on "paper" are stats, names, maps and that kind of stuff. I will try to add a introductory adventure to the book in the future but due to lack of time and my other RPG project it wont be soon. If any of you have a cool adventure and would like to share it please send it to me and I'll gladly post it on this blog, or maybe even add it to the book.
If you're looking for adventure ideas that are canon I would advise you to get your hands on the Mass Effect books and comics. They are a great inspiration and have tons of licensed material. My favorite is the Mass Effect Evolution comic, with the story of the Illusive Man.
I will publish a summary of what happened during my Mass Effect campaigns, maybe there you will find inspiration for your adventures.
The next update will contain more minor bug fixes and a new table of contents.

Err0r
I wanted to post new links on the blog but unfortunately something is messed up so until then the Mass Effect D6 LeD links are down. I hope they will be fixed soon, so I can post the 2.0.
The old links in the posts work Mass Effect D6 LeD 1.92, Mass Effect Character Sheet Front, Mass Effect Character Sheet Back from 4shared or the packed Mass Effect Character Sheet from another source.

Mass Effect Infiltrator
Mass Effect Infiltrator is an android/ios third person shooter. It's really cool that it may be linked to your Mass Effect game on other platforms, gathering intel can raise your galactic readiness. Besides that it's a really nice way to plunge into our beloved universe while waiting for a doctor appointment or riding a bus. The steering is not perfect but one can get used to it. The RPG element is non existent although you have few choices to make, they effect the color of your implants. There are two modes, the story mode and bonus missions, in the first you play as Randall Enzo, in the second as a turian prisoner. In both cases you fight your way through a secret Cerberus base , fighting off mechs, Cerberus operatives and other escapees. When you play as Randall you get to buy new weapons abilities and biotic powers, tailoring your character to your liking. When playing as the turian you have less options but still it may be appealing as it is harder to kill opponents. All in all Mass Effect Infiltrator is not a brilliant game, but like I mentioned before it is a great way to pass time and explore new places in the Mass Effect galaxy.

Have you lost your paragon?
I'm realy disapointed. BioWare has set a very high quality standard with their Mass Effect franchise but here the quality is medium at best. I expected much more from Production I.G. maybe somethig along the lines of "Samurai Champloo" or "Ghost in the Shell".
The animiation is not fluent and the detail of the drawings is like in a kids anime on cartoon network. The krogan look like toys and the "commandos" like teenagers. The computer generated backrounds are overall poor. The slowmo shots and dodgy action sequences don't make up for the weak one-liners.
The movie tells the story of events on Fehl Prime and what happened to Vega before Mass Effect 3. The plot is maybe the strongest point of this production. But the producers made a critical error letting it be directed by Astushi Takeuchi, who is maybe a great animation and cocneptual artist but he fails as a director completeley.

It's sad that the chance of getting to a broather audience through other media has been ruined.

Xenos!
If you are tired of all races presented in Mass Effect, you can always check out the BioWare CGHUB 3D Challenge for inspiration. Many very cool alien concepts designed by fans are presented there. There are only 7 days left till the end of the challenge if you are interested in participating!
